Here are some of the great nuggets that I’ve found on the web recently. This handful of links takes you to tools or insightful content. Occasionally I’ll include one from my “save” file if it fits the mood.

I couldn’t resist the article once I saw the title, We’ve Forgotten What “Greatness” Really Means.  Trump says we’ve lost it and Clinton says we’ve got it.  Maybe if we stepped back and figured out what really counts as GREAT we’d be closer to deciding what we really think. Maybe you can even decide how to be a great leader, great follower, or great parent.

If you want to learn more you need to talk more.  The reason is pretty simple:  we learn when we talk.  There are some boundaries.  Take a look at Dan Rockwell’s article, Those Who Talk The Most Learn The Most.

I was in the middle of reading this article by Joel Almeida when I came to a startling conclusion.  It was a list of things to STOP doing rather than a list of things to START doing.  Since his topic was 28 Ways We Sabotage Our Happiness (and How to Stop) his approach makes unexpected good sense.

I have not met anyone who hates the idea of personal work-life balance.  Getting there is a different thing.  Join Nigel Marsh in his TED talk on How to make work-life balance work. Click here if the video isn’t showing.
